While the company itself is new, each of the principals has several years of experience and the knowledge to create superior print products.

Debbie Sidman
is the design guru and founder of Paw Print Media. Her eye for interior book design and her expertise in QuarkXPress has served her well in her career. Debbie's nine years of experience includes serving as production coordinator at Adams Media Corporation from 1998 to 2001. In this role, she was responsible for creating specs, designing templates, laying out and paginating multiple titles, and preparing the files for the printer by troubleshooting the application files and creating PDFs for final output. Prior to her stint at Adams Media, Debbie worked in various graphic and editorial roles for a print broker, a financial analyst firm, and a business form company. Debbie received her BA in English (with a minor in ancient cultures and civilizations—wow!) from Mount Holyoke College. When Debbie has free spare time, she does sweepstaking, plays racquetball, and watches soap operas. Click here to view Debbie's resume in PDF format.

Chris LaFountain
is the marketing and business development manager. His responsibilities include such activities as developing marketing communications, finding new clients, and managing relationships with freelancers. Chris also pitches in with book production when the need arises. After receiving his BA in communications from Western New England College, Chris worked in various desktop publishing roles for an investment bank, an engineering firm, and a textbook publisher. Chris later became a full-time freelancer as well as a full-time graduate student, receiving his MBA in marketing and a graduate certificate in e-business from Bentley College in 2001. When Chris has free time, he plays disc golf, watches lots of sci-fi, and passionately supports Boston sports teams. His being a Red Sox season-ticket holder means that he is fairly miserable for about eight months per year, but that is balanced by his owning New England Patriots season tickets as well!
